Alice in Borderland season 2 will premiere in December 2022. The news was announced by Netflix based on the TUDUM event which was held on Sunday (25/9).
“Alice in Borderland Season 2 premieres on December 22, 2022,” Netflix wrote in a Twitter post, Sunday (25/9).
Netflix shares a teaser trailer for the Japanese live-action series. In season two, it still highlights the continued struggle of Arisu and his friends to survive in a world full of deadly games. They try to find out who the mastermind behind the game is.
Netflix said that filming for Alice in Borderland 2 has been completed and is ready to premiere this year, in the announcement, the stars of Alice in Borderland share their stories through the process of filming.
Alice in Borderland 2 is said to have scenes on a larger scale than the previous season.
“We have been shooting big scenes every day. The world of this series is bigger than ever. I really enjoyed filming this series,” said Kento Yamazaki, who plays the character Arisu.
Alice in Borderland generally tells of a number of young people who survive in a world full of games. They are trapped in it and must complete a series of deadly games to get a visa.
This series is an adaptation of the thriller genre manga by HARO ASO which was originally published in Weekly Shonen Sunday.
