Countries That Have Good Waste Management

Singapore at night - Jet Setta

Garbage is still the most feared environmental pollution by countries in the world, even developed countries. Because every day people are active which then produce waste from the products and services they consume. Many developed countries have anticipated this by implementing a good waste management system.

There are some countries that use waste to generate electricity, then recycle it into useful household products and there are also countries that use waste to become fertilizer for plants.

The following is a list of countries that manage their waste properly and even become examples of countries in the world.

  • Germany

This country located in the Western European region is the best in waste management. Germany recycles 70% of the waste generated by them. Even Germany accepts waste imports from other countries. Most of Germany’s recycled waste goes to power plants, bottle manufacturers and plastics.

  • Singapore

Malaysia’s neighboring country is one of the best countries in waste management. Singapore requires every company operating in Singapore to be responsible for their waste management. Even Singapore helps facilitate good waste management for households and offices.

  • South Korea

The country which is known as one of the best entertainment industries in the world is also a country that has good waste management. Because all waste in South Korea can be recycled. Call it hard objects such as iron, tv, radio, refrigerator to sofa, all of these items can be recycled in South Korea.

Hopefully the waste problem can be solved well in all developed and emerging countries.
