Engine oil became the most important vehicle component. Engine oil or lubricating oil is a viscous liquid that serves to maintain all engine components and increase the service life of the engine. Therefore, it is important for us to change the vehicle engine oil regularly.

In cars, for example, engine oil should be changed every 5,000-10,000 km depending on the type of car. Usually, cars that have a large engine capacity, require a longer replacement time than cars with a small engine capacity.

Functionality of engine oil is to reduce friction that occurs in the engine, cleaning the channels in the engine, and as an engine coolant caused by components rubbing against each other or due to the heat of combustion that occurs in the engine.

The effect that occurs if you do not change the engine oil regularly, is that your engine will no longer powerful and the consumption of fuel is more wasteful because unclean engine oil will make the engine pull heavy. Then a scale will appear on the engine which causes the engine life to be shorter.

And the most severe damage can result in engine drops due to a crust from the engine that thickens and makes compression weak.

So don’t forget to change your vehicle lubricants!
